Tangram Method is a pedagogical method developed by César Llorente in 2007, aimed to undertake changes in organizations by essentially intervening on two factors:

TANGRAM METHOD’S PRESENTATION VIDEOS:
In this book Cesar Llorente establishes a relationship between the tenets of Paul Watzlawick (psychotherapist and theoretician of human communication) from the School of Palo Alto, California and the refined work developed by the Actors Studio in New York, arising from the interpretive theories of Konstantin Stanislavski (actor, director and theater educator).
Llorente thus delineates his own organizational transformation method by changing both the rules of the game and the people’s attitudes, in order for them to be effective and sustainable over time.
With fresh and readable language, the author presents the principles of the method and its tools (Tangram Tools) enriching it with practical examples in companies, institutions and entrepreneurial projects.
THE AUTHOR: CÉSAR LLORENTE
Graduated in Psychology at the University of Barcelona, César pursued the DEA (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in the Department of Psychology of Organizations. He holds a Master in Enterprise Quality Management and is a specialist in Foreign Trade. He studied Psychotherapy under the method of Constructivist and Organizational Systemic paradigms.
He is currently the associated professor of the Department of Educational Psychology and Pedagogy at the Balearic Islands University, professor of the Master in Human Resource Management and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching and Organizational Training.
He has extensive experience as a Senior consultant in the business training in the areas of Human Resources, Marketing, Management and Communication.
César is the entrepreneur and co-founder of Tangram Group, Omneom and author of two books: “The Tangram Method”, developed to promote behavior change in organizations and “Coworking. Share to grow.”
Tangram Insitute is a nonprofit association whose mission is to research, develop, disseminate and monitor the proper use of Tangram Method in society.
It is place of learning, training and discussion where bridges are established between psychology, systems theory, pedagogy and theater. These are applied to the therapeutic and organizational systemic fields, promoting transformation processes in organizations and individuals.
The training activities are executed by a team of experts certified in the Tangram Method. They are based on the philosophy of Coworking and Colearning, whose value is to share knowledge and experiences, breaking down the barriers between trainers and trainees.
Most organizations that address the Tangram Group have a long career in corporate training. Due to their size and commitment to innovative ideas they usually already have knowledge and experience of the market in terms of management courses, coaching, group dynamics …
Their difficulty is that they even though they are highly motivated, often their long term improvement is not sustainable.
Tangram Group is a systemic consultancy created with the purpose of increasing performance in organizations and in 2007 they developed their own training method.
Using the Tangram Method implies that before starting training, a detailed study of the organization’s functioning is performed in order to identify its real needs.
At times more training may not be needed, but the implementation of new rules of the game to encourage teams’ attitudinal change.
This is done by carefully monitoring the transformational process in order for it to consolidate and endure over time.
After many successful editions of the program “Train yourself to start a business”, created at Barcelona Activa in the last years, Tangram Group organizes monthly training actions in several Spanish cities. These are aimed at those who wish to start a new professional adventure.
We guide each person in identifying their added value, to make of it a viable business idea, providing them with the necessary skills (marketing, planning, communication, leadership …) and following them through the implementation of the project.
We use the Business Model Canvas to develop the business plan. This allows to study business opportunities, evaluate the viability of the project and guide it to success.
In his second book César Llorente shares with the reader experiences of successes and failures during the current economic situation and explains: “I am one of the thousands of entrepreneurs in this country who had to reinvent in this crisis.”
The author presents a new way of working that goes far beyond just sharing a space: a life philosophy, which is learning to share knowledge, experiences, opportunities and contacts to improve as people and to grow as professionals.
Coworking is targeted to entrepreneurs, companies, multinationals and public institutions, as it encourages to create synergies, cost reduction or collaboration in successful action plans.
The book contains exercises that allow the reader to reflect on and internalize the spirit of coworking.

“Bridge to start up a business” is the first edition of an innovative program sponsored by Cesar Llorente and Jorge Serrano, aimed to train and support the senior students of the UIB so they can start up a business idea that helps seasonally adjusted touristic industry of the Balearic Islands.
The training program is funded by the chairs Meliá Hotels International Tourism Studies and Bancaja Young Entrepreneurs.
